Since birth, I’ve been surrounded by kitty friends. My first best friend, Ranna, was a big fuzzy grey cat who refused to leave my side from the crib until she passed away many years later. Childhood summers were spent with my Auntie, caring for a plethora of rescue kitties–litter box tidying and deep cleaning, feeding, grooming, loving, playing, and administering medication. I was taught from a very young age the intricacies of caring for these four-legged wonders . . .
